Step 01

Measure

Use the washable, reusable measuring card by placing it over your stoma to find the best-fitting opening. Regularly measuring your stoma ensures a proper fit for your ostomy barrier, preventing irritation and maintaining comfort with no mess or waste of your valuable and costly supplies.

Step 02

Select Size

Turn the dial to adjust the cutting apparatus, ensuring it aligns precisely with the stoma size measured using the sizing tool. This delivers an accurate fit with no wasted supplies, helping create a secure and comfortable seal that reduces the risk of leaks and skin irritation.

Step 03

Clean Cut

Push down on the dial to lock in the size and activate the blade. Using the knob, rotate the device 360 degrees. Open up the device, and you have a perfect CleanCut. Goodbye scissors! Your entire process just went from 15 minutes, to less than 2 minutes!

Why I built the CleanCut™

My name is Matthew Gang, and I have suffered from Crohn's and Colitis for 10 years.

In 2019, my colon became pre-cancerous, and I had no option but to undergo a full colectomy at 30 years of age.

Over the course of 4 surgeries, 25 days in the hospital, and 8 months of recovery, I knew I needed to create and develop a product to address and alleviate one of the difficulties ostomy patients experience post-surgery. Regular changes of my ostomy appliance were messy, time consuming, and frustrating while wasting valuable skin barriers because they were not properly cut. I knew there had to be a better way to normalize and shorten the process from 15 minutes to less than 2. That’s why I am proud and excited to share Ostomee CleanCut™ with you!
